We spend a lot of time on the Paris metro system. While not the cleanest (London is amazingly clean!) nor easiest to maneuver (I have yet to find a working elevator) it is extremely efficient and goes pretty much anywhere you would want to go. I have a special love affair with it because I feel like anytime I am getting on it we are on our way to do something fun. Usually I am headed to date night with chris, or to take the kids to an amazing park. For all the monotonous stuff, grocery shopping, doctor visits etc. we take the car so the metro is left for adventures. I thought I would share a few pictures I took lately to continue my “ordinary extraordinary goal”.
^^^^The Metro signs are works of art themselves ^^^^
^^^^The buckets seats that you can’t help but slouchy into^^^^
^^^^Best sight, a train coming right as you make it to the platform^^^^
^^^^Passengers do NOT chit chat here in Paris^^^^
^^^^Oh the stairs. My double strollers nemesis^^^^
^^^^Entrance stiles, my strollers second nemesis ha!^^^^
^^^^It is always important to know where the “sortie” or exit is ^^^^
^^^^ A rare sight, an empty metro car. We are the last stop on our line so we actually see this more often then others^^^^
^^^^To exit you pull these knobs up. When I look at them I can’t help but think of little cartoon germs jumping around on them ready to pounce^^
I think this will probably be an ongoing documentation for me. There are so many other pictures I want to take. The problem is I am usually trying to make sure someone little doesn’t waddle of the platform not trying to get the best angle etc. So many happy memories on these dirty trains.
